Permission to make mistakes

To err is human, to forgive divine. Or something like that.

But what if the thing you think is an error isn’t considered one by others?

The process of forgiveness requires a great deal of emotional energy. It can also provide a sense of closure for everyone involved. Without it, the process, the feelings of doubt and remorse, the mental and emotional burden is put squarely on your shoulders.

To forgive yourself divine.

Everyone should be given the opportunity to learn from their actions. Everyone is allowed to wish they did things differently.

Just don’t dwell on it too long.
